This is probably a long shot, but my ASUS G51Jx recently had the OS partition crash (to the point where chkdsk /f took nearly 3 days to run) and I find myself without any sort of recovery media for it. When I first purchased the laptop, ASUS was still shipping them with physical recovery disks, but I had to RMA mine due to a DOA GPU and the unit I received did not come with one. In my infinite wisdom, I didn't make the recovery disks when setting up my new laptop. To add insult to injury, the product key for my copy of Windows 7 has worn off the COA sticker ( Microsoft!?!), so it's either this long shot or going out and buying a new copy of Windows 7 and just reinstalling everything manually.

E: Hurr, I guess I should actually put in what I'm looking for. Does anyone have a copy of the recovery media for this model laptop?

If you can still read your serial number, I would attempt to call ASUS as they may be able to retrieve your windows product key.
