    Asus G51jx boot up problem

    So today I turned on my labtop and I noticed something was wrong because the lcd didn't turn on, and I didn't hear anything else turn on ( fan not running etc.). The labtop is on, but it seems none of the hardware is working. Before this problem it was working fine. Any ideas what is wrong?

    There are a few basic troubleshooting steps you need to try. First, take out the battery and AC power. Let it sit for a minute and try again.

    Second, try taking the hard drive out and put it back in.

    Third, take out one stick of RAM at a time, or take all RAM out and try one at a time alone, depending on how patient you are.
