Awhile ago i updated my Nvidias drivers and afterwards i've been getting a lot of driver fails where my computer starts freezing up and suddenly resets saying Nvidia drivers have stopped working and have recovered... i tried installing the previous version after cleaning up the current drivers and even using driver sweeper but i'm still having the same problem.

Any insight on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Are you overclocking? If so drop your clocks down this is a common sign or a GPU running too high. Otherwise check your temps at idle and load and post back.

Sorry for taking so long to respond.
I am not overclocking and my temps at idle are 42-50 C and under load can get up to 65-75 C
