I had to do a clean install. I no longer have the correct programs for overclocking my graphics or my CPU.

Does anyone know what i can use and that will work nicely and SAFELY? Cause my warranty is almost up and the last thing i want to do is have any issues...cause ill be damned if i have to pay them...

For your GPU I recommend NvidiaInspector. For stability I would go with 780 core/ 1500 shader.

Because neither Sandy Bridge or Ivy overclock, there's not a program. You could try ThrottleStop but that really only helps on Battery to force 8x multipliers. On High Performance you can force Turbo but that doesn't really make a difference.

I dont even know how to do Turbo on this...I dont have the software or anything. I had to do a clean windows install and when i was reinstalling the software and drivers, I tried the turbo thing and it said that its not compatible...So, i dunno.

And would MSI Afterburner work? And someone mentioned something called SETFSB, but since i dunno what kind of motherboard i have, OR how to find out, I dont really know how to use it...

With the G53JW you have a Sandy Bridge generation CPU (you have either the i5-2xxx or i7-2xxx). Sandy Bridge CPU's automatically enter Turbo as needed. There is no software for this.

Msi Afterburner would work too. It's just a matter of preference.

I believe SETFSB only works for older generation CPU's. I could be wrong however. ThrottleStop likewise I believe.

HWInfo64 shows my G53SW has an Intel HM65 motherboard, yours' is likely the same but you could download the program and check yourself.

Edit: In short, you could use Msi Afterburner for your GPU, but on the G53 and all laptops with Sandy (2xxx) or Ivy Bridge (3xxx) CPU's, you cannot really modify clocks or voltages.

Well, it seems i might not be able to use MSI either. Whenever i try to start a game with the program open, the damn game errors out or doesnt start at all, giving me an "unexpected error" dialog

    Can you be more specific?

Some games don't like it when you start them up with another program selected.

MSI afterburner is the only one I use with Nvidia. Top Prog.
