    On vanilla skyrim with no mods I'm getting avg 22-25 fps on lowest settings and 12-15 on High. From looking online I think I should be getting alot more :(

    I'm using afterburner at 825/1650/1450 and throttlestop. I have the lastest beta Nvidia driver. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the link I hadn't seen that. Great read.

    After trying just about every performance/graphics mod nothing really helped all that much until I just tried to lower the resolution. It bumped it up like 20 fpps and is much better, and I can barely tell the difference :)

    I think you can try these settings:

    - Patch the executable to use 4gb of ram
    - Put the DLL performance mod in the game directory wheres the patched exe
    - Open the launcher and configure the game like this:

    1080p
    All high settings (click on advanced and set other options to high as well)
    AA off
    FXAA on
    16xAF

    You should be ok now. Also if youre happy with the perfomance and want more eye candy, browse to Documents\MyGames\Skyrim and open the file SkyrimPrefs.ini with notepad.

    Change these values:

    bDrawLandShadows=1 (was 0)
    bTreesReceiveShadows= 1 (was 0)

    I dont remember the exact values but there should be something like these.
    Hope it helps.
