    Hi,
    I have a G53SW
I've taken this apart after following some instructions.

I now have discovered that there are 2ram slots at the back of this, and, obviously the one at the front (which currently has 8gb).
    I currently have 16gb (2x8gb) with this.
In the back the one slot has 8gb Crucial 1333 SODIMM, so I'm wondering if it's feasible to get another identical stick to give me 24gb?

My second question really is with regards to the trackpad (touchpad). I read somewhere quite a few months ago, that someone had provided a fix for the heavy click, on the left and right mouse, as it does require quite some effort to click it. I'm just wondering - seeing as I'd like to have a go at this as my laptop is currently part disassembled - of someone could provide me with a guide of sorts for this?

    Thanks

Absolutely! And it is best to match the make and model of RAM you currently have.

I can't say I've heard of this. Maybe there is some info regarding this on the ROG forum(?): http://rog.asus.com/forum/forumdisp...-Notebooks&s=0d3db000e93ce86afabea88ca595d58d

I upgraded the ram, and, everything seems OK, except the touch pad and mouse functions aren't working. I've tried to boot into bios, but no matter what I do can't get into it. The laptop does boot up find however. Any ideas?
