    GenTech PC - Asus G53SX-DH71

I'm considering buying this laptop since its components are good for gaming (Oblivion, Skyrim...) and it's not too expensive. Anybody own this laptop or know anything about how it performs or how long it lasts? I'm having difficulty finding reviews of any kind on the internet. Thanks.

Somebody who knew nothing about computers asked me how long a laptop lasted and I didn't really know the life expectancy. But I assumed they lasted indefinitely, as long as you took care of it. Same with cars; some people have cars from the 1920s that are still operational; mostly just for collectors. Same concept applies to laptops; they'll last as long as you take care of them and replace parts that go bad. Although after ten years of repairs and maintenance, you'd have an entirely new laptop most likely.

I mainly need this laptop to play modded Morrowind, and vanilla Oblivion & Skyrim. I want to play The Witcher 2 but I'll save that for when I build my desktop or buy the Alienware M18xR2. I mainly need this Asus to go with me on the road and all over hell and back, to school, to friends' houses...

I'm customizing this Asus G53SX-DH71 with an i7-2860QM processor and 8GB RAM @ 1600MHz. That should be adequate for what I'm wanting to do, I hope.

Your review is a little helpful, although there are no clear shots of the sides. I care more about side view pictures than front view because I want to know how many USB ports there are. I have a flash drive and two external drives at home, and a wireless mouse. So I would like to have four ports to plug in USB devices. Do you know if there are four USB holes on this brand of laptop?

EDIT: Correct me if I'm mistaken but it seems like it has four USB ports according to this.
    "Ports: 1 x USB 3.0, 3 x USB 2.0" <-Looks like four to me.
