Yesterday I've upgraded my 4GB to 16GB (Corsair Vengeance 4x4GB 1600MHz). I have disassembled and assembled with the help of the 2 popular G53Sw disassembly videos on YouTube.

But my laptop won't boot up with neither new or old stick. I have exactly the same thing like on this video - Asus doesnt turn on - YouTube

I tried to press Power button for 15sec/2 min. Also tried to reflash the BIOS but it was unsuccessful (nothing is happening). I heard something about some reset button but I don't know where it is... Please help desperate G53 user :)

Did you try it with only your old RAM to see if it's just the RAM? Those Vengeance RAMs come with XMP profile. By the way I can't find anything related to XMP in the G53SW bios.

Does the hard drive light still flashes when boot up, like it's reading?

How long are you leaving it sit to boot up?

WHen you install new RAM, typically the system goes and counts it (sometimes numerous times). My G73JH took 10 mins the first time I put in 4x4GBs in it.

Nope, just the Power diode is lighting, and the other ones too like on the video. Also fans are working, HDD is working but it's IDLE and DVD spins CD and then stops.

Well I tried it for 5mins. Leave it for longer? I can do it for whole night :p

Anyway on ROG forums they don't have idea neither :/ I hate that kind of problems.
