So I spilled water on my G53sw-a1 laptop. Though I can still use it, the screen's middle 1/3 region is full of stripes; I'm guessing there's a problem with the LED screen from the water that seeped in.

Now I'm trying to register for the Accidental Damage Warranty. I've sent in the requested information (there was a form that I filled out in the warranty book for the accidental damage warranty) and mailed it to the address suggested. It's been roughly 3 weeks, and I haven't received any mail or e-mail from ASUS, and I don't know if I am registered or not.

Do you think the laptop is already registered for the warranty? Or is ASUS ignoring my request? I've searched about the Accidental damage warranty and people say they cannot register for it.

Oh, and by the way, I've tried calling them only to listen to ASUS's commercials for about 20 minutes... so...

    any solutions for my case?
