Hello, I have recently picked up a Asus G55VW and love everything except its very poor battery life. I know it's packing a lot of power, but even if I halve the performance of the CPU I can maybe get two hours out of it. Everything else I am lucky to get one hour. My model has a i7 CPU, 8 gigs of ram, and the Nvidia 660m. Any help for increasing battery life while on the road would be great.

I don't really have any advice for you, other than to go in to the power setting and go in advanced and change everything to max battery / max power saver when on battery mode (usually I use the power saver profile for this extreme mode).
Part of the problem is that Asus disabled Optimus on its G55vw and G75vw, so the dedicated cards are always on and the computer never switches to the integrated graphics. -
I should have clarified that I already have everything at the max battery saving. I know it is an issue with the 660m draining the battery, I find it bizarre that they would disable integrated on it though. I really just need to know if theres a way to lower battery consumption of GPU or maybe underclock it

Yes I read you can underclock with this Download EVGA Precision - MajorGeeks but I am an ATI guy. I am sure you know to keep your screen brightness low as possible also.
