    Hello,

I've read some of the replies online to this , but wanted to see if anyone had any specific suggestions to my situation.

I just bought this pc from newegg, it was recertified.

While under load (playing Battle Field 2 Bad Company) and while the charger is plugged into the battery the screens starts to flicker as it changes from battery mode to ac mode. It will then continue to kick me out of the game. I can play fine on battery mode with no flickering problems. When back to viewing web pages or low intensity activity it charges fine and does not flip back and fourth. Any program which requires some processing power the mode flickering will kick back on.

    The charger is a 19volt output, model #ADP 65JH

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Should I return this to newegg?

    bump! any help? :)

So I talked to Asus they want me to send in my notebook on my own dime.. then wait 10-14 BUSINESS days before I get my computer back after that.

Anyone else think this is kind of crappy customer service?

Should I just go try and buy my own charger , I am even thinking about returning the laptop since the Customer service seems sub par thus far, any opinions?

Note that Chastity was referring to G73 and you are referring to G60JX-RBBX05 so the adapter you need may be different!

Oh, my bad! :( Sorry for giving you misinformation. I'm not sure what power supply a G60 should have.

I did some research on google, the charger is supposed to be 120W charger.. The ADP-65JH is a 65 watt charger...

Who should I blame? Asus or Newegg? :)

Yeah G60JX should have the 120w as they said, anything over 120w will be fine but at least 120w, the 65w is maxing out and drawing too much power, talk to newegg and ASUS and see what they will say, whoever will replace the charger should be good.
