Easy way to check to see if your hard drive is detected just press ESC key on the keyboard when Asus logo appears, it will load boot selection and if your hard drive is not listed then it's dead.

^^^ great suggestion, also try reseating the hard drive(s) and while it is out clean the contacts on the MB and the drive.

Also do you have 2 physical hard drives in your system? If yes try swapping them and let us know.

Hard to really understand what he's saying but from the message that you typed you're getting into PXE boot, so it could be that you changed your boot order around, but you would still be able to get into the C drive after that timed out. Check your drives, take them out of the system and put them back in, also you can listen to the system when you're trying to boot it, listen for the sound of the drive spinning. Your drive could have very well failed.
