    Asus G72GX TurboGear QUESTION

    Hi all, I play often multiplayer games, I have noticed that, when Im playing bad company 2, my fps drops by 20~25. I cant play like that. so far so good, so I try to use TurboGear in overclocking mode? Great! at 10% already my fps just drop by 30% in some effects during the gameplay. BUT, my internet starts to lag constantlly, I cant move my soldier right. Do anybody already had experienced that? Turbogear in overclock mode lags internet?

    Turbogear only overclocks your CPU and hence you may not see any improvements in gaming since most games are primarily GPU dependent.
    In addition, Turbogear shouldn't affect your internet connection either. As a suggestion, I'd check your GPU temperature to see if it's overheating. If so, it's most likely your GPU has downclocked itself to prevent heat damage to your system and is the reason why you're seeing less than stellar gaming performance.

    Yea the g72 has a little trouble running bad company 2. That's one of the only games I can't play and I use my g73 for.

    , Im gonna sell it then. I just buy it for BC2...

    And no, there is no overheating problem, and its lag the internet. Playing other games as well like CSS, DoD, CoD4, Battlefield 2, or even TDU online... If I overclock, it lags...
