    Hello everybody!
I have the BestBuy Asus g73 and When I try to install Mafia 2 game It freezes on the User Agreement Screen. I even can't move the cursor and the only option is hard shut down. Installed the newest drivers from ATI and tried to run the installer ina Compitability mode...nothing works. I don't play many new games on my laptop so I don't have that problem with the other games.

Sounds like an issue with the DRM protection. You may want to check their forum, or check NBR's Gaming forum

I had a similar issue with an old old game - "half-life" - It failed though when it went to play the test WAV file.

You might want to check your Creative settings and/or read through those posts here in the forum -

I could be completely off base, but it's a suggestion..

if you have a legitimate version of the game, you can use a custom installer like Phoenix, which has been tested to be working perfectly with mafia II. Google it, installing with Phoenix is easy. Btw, I agree, awesome game.
