Okay well this is my situation, i did a complete reformat of my hd so that i can start out fresh without all the bloat wear and besbuy crap on my laptop. And the only issue ive had so far is the turbo mode button doesnt work and neither does the button with the S on it (have no clue what that does but i know it doesnt work :p ) I have the ATK driver installed and everything and before i reformatted those buttons worked (the light button still works)

The only way the "S" button works if you reinstall the bloatware "splendid" I'm not sure what controls the twin-turbo mode button though.

I realize this probably isn't the info you're looking for, but even with all Asus software gone you can STILL turn twin turbo mode on and off from within BIOS [hit DEL during p.o.s.t].
