    Asus G73-JW 3-D 64bit Not recognize ivina scanner-K55A does :

Would really appreciate if someone smarter than me! can help :

Seems to be a 64bit issue, as I successfully run the Ivina S400 Bulletscan scanner on:

Win7.sp1 Pro on 32bit Windows machines,
    as well as on a 32bit 2006 iMac & a 2007 13" Macbook
(Macbook is actually 64bit, but Bcamp doesn't support 64bit installations),
    -- both inside BootCamp.

    Asus G73-JW 3-D -- neither 64bit Win7sp1 Pro or Win7 Pro RTM (rule-out sp1 as problem)
\ 8 GB RAM \ neither SSD nor SATA drives work -- tried each (rule-out the drive type).

In the G73-JW, it will pull paper thru the scanner, slowly,
then hangs at the "Scanning 1st page" dialog applet.

So I picked up a 64bit Asus at WalMart just to test the scanner on a "less sophisticated"
    64bit machine- model K55A.

Scanner works right away from the install of the Win7sp1 Pro 64bit on Asus K55A -
w/ only the Bulletscan drivers installed.

Continues to work with the rest of the machine drivers,
as well as .NET 4, DirectX 10 updates, etc etc etc. --

Imaged in between each major install to have a fall-back in case something crashed.

I've taken screenshots of both rigs for their Services, as well as the running .dll's,
and I have the smart-xxx Asus G73-JW configed exactly the same as the K55A -

don't the K55 models all use the Intel 4000 series graphics?

What the hell else can it be? seriously - I've invested close to 40 hours going back & forth,
I really wanted the ability of the CUDA functionality in the G73-JW to help me in processing aLOT of scannning-OCRing.

Again - it seems to be a 64bit issue,

as well as the way there is a "flickering" in a part of the "Scanning 1st page" dialog applet
which makes me to suspect something w/ the video processing.

Very disheartening to have a $550 machine kick the xxx of a $2000+ machine !! :(

    Thank you
