is there a way to have the keyboard backlight stay on during boot up? i mean how do you see your keys in the dark.

On my notebook the lights only come on after I login to my Windows account. my make a wish foundation dream is to have lights that come on during start-up, so I can type my login password in say a dark room. is this possible?

Nope, the lights only come on through software that only starts up when Windows starts up. I have no idea why though, when I was installing Ubuntu my lights were on the whole time. As of right now though, there isn't any way.

If I'm in the dark, when the G73 is ready for the login password, I just lean the screen forward at about a 45 degree angle putting enough light on the keyboard to see the keys. My G72 lighted keyboard lights up from the time it boots, but the G73 lights only after login.
