    Asus G73J board color?

    I noticed that my board is brown color but a eBay parts search I also see a green board color. What is the difference between these two board? Is it cause one is for AMD GPU and the other is Nvidia GPU? Or is one newer so it is a green color. I like to fix it and get it back working.

    It likely depends on what the cheapest PCB colour solder mask was at the time, asus will order it in bulk and it all works the same.

    Are you sure on that??? Don't want to order the board and find out ops...its AMD or wrong socket type???

    But what if my part number on the brown board isn't cross to any green board then does it mean this is a different board specs then? I try to do some more digging on the Asus support to find out more.

    Both colours have had a variety of GPU upgrades from my reading so it should make no difference regardless of revision.
