This error just struck me today. I go to boot my Asus G73JH and it delays the POST and decides its going to crank the fans to maximum spin. After this the Asus logo shows followed by the error message: "Error sending post message to ME". The computer continues on to boot Windows as though nothing is wrong except for the fact that the fans are still blasting. I have re-flashed the bios to 209 and this seems to resolve the issue for one...sometimes two boot ups. Some help would be appreciated.

That's an odd one. Things I would do is do a full shutdown, let it cool off for a few minutes, startup. I would also endeavor to open it up and check for dust accumilation of vents and fans.

The error problem seems to have gone away. Don't know if this is for good though. I would be surprised if it was dust since I've only the thing three weeks. I checked into some things on it and found the cpu temp was being misread as 102 degrees celcius....but the computer felt cooler than it does when being used usually....weird.
