Hello, after I fixed my battery issues, which was like $150 for the battery and the power brick, I am facing a new problem: this f,ucked up laptop freezes sometimes, but it's enough so that it's annoying. When it freezes I can't do anything and I have to shut it down via the button. How can I fix that? I did a clean boot but I don't know which service or program is causing this problem. Can someone help me please?

    If you haven't already:

Uninstall/Quit : Trend Micro, AsusUpdate, Web Storage

You may also wish to kill any of the Synaptic helper processes.

Thanks I did that it works great. But I am getting this error on a few programs now: CLR error: 80004005

    The program will now terminate.

    How can I fix that?

You could try re-installing .NET Framework. I saw this once, a while back, and that did the trick.

    Good luck! :D

Ok great now I can't ing install Framework 4. Getting 634 or something like that when using it over windows update, and I can't install it using the standalone installer either.

Since you say it is not listed for you to uninstall.

    Try this:

Go to Control Panel>Add remove programs and features

Select Turn Windows Features on or off

You should be able to see something like

Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 or any other version.

Uncheck it, and it should remove all .NET versions in one go.

Then go to this link and get your .NET 4 and install it Click Linky

Yeah I tried it before but I didn't help me either. Well I am doing a back up of my important files and after that I will do a fresh install of Ultimate 64 bit

Awesomness! A clean install is always a good thing on an Asus. Lol

You might consider getting a copy of Acronis TrueImage Home and making regular backups. I swear by it. ;)
