Asus G73JH Driver Package Download (for clean install)

Did you get an Asus G73JH without a Driver/Utility disc? Want to do a fresh install of Windows 7? Hopefully this will help you out. I'm making no promises, but these are what worked for me after a fresh Windows 7 Pro install.

Included: Motherboard driver, ATK Package driver, Hard driver controller driver, Sound driver, LAN driver, Keyboard driver, Touchpad driver, Turbo Boost Monitor, "S" button program, Twin Turbo program.

NOT included: GPU driver(easy to download from ATI website, the file was too big), Multicard reader driver, Webcam driver, Wireless LAN driver

These are the barebones drivers. The "Twin Turbo Button Program" makes it so you can use the turbo button above your keyboard in the top left under the screen. The "S Button Program" controls the button next to the turbo button right below the screen. These programs are optional to install, but I put them in just incase you want all of the buttons on your new laptop to function. =)





Still would like the get the Driver/Utility disc. If you have it, and use torrents please toss it up for us. I'll pick up the seed after I download it.

Does this package include the actual drivers for Intel's i7 turbo boost? I see it includes the gadget, but does it include the actual drivers themselves? the one listed on ASUS website doesn't work for anyone.

 

If I made the recovery files with the 6 dvd's wouldn't the Driver files be located somewhere on one of those disks? Am I to assume the easiest way to do a restore is to simply put in my copy of Windows 7 that I bought and put in the key underneath my laptop and not bother with the 6 dvd's?

Did you apply to be a BC2 provider? I'm looking for a new host.

 

Am I to understand that the Driver and Utility disc archive you are uploading will contain all ~3.5GB of data and will be in ISO format so that it can be burned to a disc (ie: the same as the original)?

IF so and if it's okay with you, I would like to link to it in my guide so that others that were unable to receive the Driver and Utility disc with their G73JH purchase may burn one for themselves.

 

Two days and nothing. I guess this won't be happening.

 

Why do you exclude Multicard reader driver, Webcam driver & Wireless LAN driver? Would you recommend to get them somewhere else?

Still wondering why some drivers are not included and if/how I should get them ...

 

Hello all. I can rip an iso of my driver/utility disc and post it to a torrent no prob. But I would like to collaborate with a person(s) on it. That way I can upload it, it can be downloaded and then I can remove myself as a seeder. Demonoid is my preferred torrent tracker at this point (Until I somehow manage to acquire a waffles invite that it).

What did he list as illegal? I hope it isn't just mentioning "torrents".

Oh wow, how ironic. I came in looking for the wifi and webcam drivers.... two of the three drivers you decided not to put in your package XD

This is a real headache, Something is wrong with the drivers they have on the support site and I can't seem to find them anywhere else.

 

I'm not sure who you're replying to or what package you're referring to, but if there's an ISO image of the entire driver/utility disk above, then all the drivers should be there.

 

If the driect link posted by Chastity works, roll with that as I am sure it will be a faster download than through a torrent. The iso i created is still available on demonoid and as stated before, I will seed it as much as possible for the next few weeks. Search for "Asus G73JH driver disc"

 

true, the Atheros drivers are NOT on the driver disc, however, you should be able to get them via Windows Update. (for Atheros / AzureWare AR5895)

 

Can someone please provide a link to the Catalyst 9.12 Drivers? I don't know where to get them!

they are on the ASUS support site under the G73 model.

 

does all driver in here? also the utilities??

 

it includes everything that would be stock versions, plus apps.

Is this Windows 7 + Drivers for the ASUS G73JH?

 

Guys, I really don't know what to do....

I've been playing WOW just fine, had a 60 fps and my latency was great, but now its LAGGING so I figured I might have to install a clean version of windows 7 and install the right updates.

Can somebody guide me through this, what package to download and where to get windows 7 iso, I've never done this before?

I would appreciate it big time, I'm stuck with this crap right and just got this ASUS G73JH a week

To anyone looking for this driver disc, I have a compressed version of it (7 zip format) loaded onto a general web storage account. Email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to provide you with the site and login info so you can just grab it in one direct download. It's a pretty quick download, and beats the hell out of torrenting such a file when there are hardly any seeders.

for those of you that need the install discs for the G73JH. i'm gonna be ordering the discs. i'm gona iso them and put them in my ftp for those of you to download. now i'm paying for these discs so a donation would be uch appreciated for the favor i'm going to be doing for you. the information where to download them will be available sometime next week.For those of you wanting the official discs, it;s 30 dollars plus shipping from ASUS. you can contact them for the discs.
