Hey guys recently when I'm running starcraft 2 with high settings, my laptop after a few minutes of game play will just shut off. It isn't even a year old, and I used to be able to run this game with the same settings just fine.
Should I claim my warranty for this? Or is there a solution to my problem? Thanks for your help!

Try using compressed air to blow out the vents (when thecomputer is off)

I personally would rip it apart to clean it out, using an air compressor on your fans can mess up the bearings in them. It spins them very very quickly, and puts an unbalanced 'load' on it which is hard on the bearings.

Thanks for the quick responses! I will take both suggestions into consideration. Just wondering though, if I open up my box, won't it break my warranty?

i'd used compressed air and consider repasting the CPU+GPU or going to some asus repair shop and have them do it for you.

It doesn't have any warranty stickers, so unless you break something they wont know you've taken it apart. You can even re-paste the GPU heat sink without throwing any flags to void the warranty. If you do the CPU heat sink then you will have to remove a sticker voiding the warranty.
