Hello I am looking into ordering a g73jh-A2 this week and i am super excited.

I was thinking about ordering it from XoticPC and have heard good things about them as well as a cash discount that brings the laptop down to approx 1500.

I would like to have the laptop by june but i can wait till August if i have to so time till shipping is not an issue.

What in your opinion is the best online reseller place to buy this notebook from?

    Hi

It depends where you are if you are, for me been in Asia XoticPC work out to be the best!

It seems there is a waiting period that begins when you pre order, til the moment you receive a second mail called phase 2 of 6 weeks and then ones everything is been paid it can be around one more week to max 3 weeks.

Personally I'd go with GentechPC. They also offer a cash discount and seem to offer the most help on the forum compared to the rest.

If you're not worried about how long it takes then Gentech/Xotic will be fine. If not I would recommend eBay if you want it fast.

Place your order now. I think XoticPC will get it to you by June. But give them a call, call is free and you can get the word straight from them. And they aren't like Eurocom, they will tell you straight, not feed you bs to get your money.

    Tiger Direct*

And actually since he lives in Florida, he'd get taxed. So wouldnt be saving any money even after bing.

Tiger Direct has the X3 model for $1599, which has 2x320GB HDDs instead of the 2x500GB of the A1 and A2, and also doesn't include the mouse and backpack. With 12.3% Bing Cash Back, it brings the total down to ~$1400.

Well shipping doesnt matter too much to me and the extra hdd space backpack and mouse are worth more than ~70-80 bucks for me

xotic is not in cali because I don't get taxed and I live there(here).

I think xoticpc has a long backorder, but you can also get them to do a burn-in test (like furmark) for 24 hours or so if you ask nicely (I think).

It means the put the computer under maximum load (which peaks heat and power draw) for a while to see if anything is bad (before they ship it to you)

I purchased my G73 from powernotebooks and everything went smooth. Good communication, double boxed the package, and worked my requests. Additionally, the invoice date on the receipt is the date they ship the laptop, not the date you pay or place the order. This was important when the wait for the G73 was long since you didn't want your warranty to start prior to shipping the laptop.
