Hi , I have to pay customs duty for my G73. Parcelforce currently has it so what can i do. If i pay the duty tomorrow if i get the card and customs duty reference number , would they still deliver tomorrow?

Or is it better to go to the international mail depot and get it from there? its a big package and i don't have a car.. and its quite far.. umghh.. i really don't know what to do.

Move to the USA and don't mess with these dumb Euro shipping things?

I don't know man. No car = makes it hard to get there and back especially with all the crap and boxes.. Id just pay it and get it shipped at least. Unless you can bum a ride from a friend.

Just hope yours comes new.. I feel betrayed by mine coming tainted from wherever its been.. Kinda like a really hot girl with an STD...

not going to happen mate.. none of them are free tomorrow... i'll have to do it myself but worse thing is , its not even at the delivery depot yet.. its been more than 12 hours since it got sorted in national hub and yet not reached depot... which is 3 hours away at most... if its there tomorrow , good... and if the letter comes in even more good and if i can have it delivered tomorrow , excellent.

Get on the bus and go straight to the depot

And don't listen to people above. I bought mine from the us too. Had it shipped via USPS and Parcellforce without any issues. Additionally, the seller marked the value of the package as $500, which meant I only had to pay sth. like £70 customs charges.

In total, my G73JH cost me £1100, while in the UK it normally retails at £1600

    @ sean473
Maybe the best thing is to go there and pick it up yourself.

    @ Clyde_frog
I had mine also delivered with USPS to Germany without any issues.
Their Germany carrier is DHL. :D

UPS is good to use if you are living in the USA but for international shipments they can be pain. They sometimes charge you extra fees for handling the package at customs.

We have UPS in Germany but Deutsche post (the German postal serive) is much better. DHL is part of Deutsche post.
Standard package with UPS inside Germany itself can take about 5 days to deliver whereas with DHL standard shipment it takes around 2 days. Usually it is delivered on the next day.

The UPS does not ship on Saturday also.
One time I ordered something inside Germany with overnight express with UPS and paid extra for that. It was ordered on Friday morning. They did not deliver it on Saturday, but on Monday as it turned out they don't work on Saturday. The tracking info said that the package was already in my city but sat there until Monday noon.

Order something with DHL overnight express on Friday and it will be delivered on Saturday morning.

    @sean473

As soon as you get a tracking number from the seller keep checking the USPS website and then the Parcellforce site as soon as it arrives in the UK.
For some reason, when mine arrived in my city Parcellforce apparently attempted to deliver but didn't leave me a 'Sorry, you were out' card :?
I had to check their website with the tracking number and then give them a ring personally in order to have it delivered to my local post office instead.
Good thing I kept a track of where the package was, because otherwise it would probably sit at the Parcellforce depot for a few extra days.

Also, remember that if there will be any customs charges you will have to pay Parcellforce for handling these charges. Prob sth like £10...
