Can't find what I was looking for through search...

Alright I've been messing around with this thing for a while now. Mostly playing games, but I got some questions.

First off, ATI Catalyst doesn't not have the overdrive tab to overclock with. All my other notebooks with ATI had that tab... MSI afterburner won't allow me to either. I did a clean 10.3 install using driver sweeper via safe mode and everything.

Secondly, my current twin turbo function only overclocks my CPU to about 1.7 from stock 1.6. Is there a way to get it higher? I noticed this processor was listed as 1.6ghz - 2.8ghz, what's up with that?

Lastly, can someone explain how twin turbo affects my GPU? I understand it is supposed to overclock both GPU and CPU, but I'm a bit confused. If I overclock my GPU to... 800/1100, does twin turbo overclock it even more? What is Power4Gear? I read up on it, but it seems to be really confusing OR really useless... :(

    Thanks in advance guys. :D

2nd: When a piece of game/program uses only 1 of the 4(?) cores of the CPU, it boosts the frequency of that single core to 2.8GHz. When any game/program uses more than 1 core the cores will operate at 1.6GHz each.

I see, that makes a lot of sense... Anyway of upping the twin turbo button to do more than the .1 ghz increase?

    no

As to overclocking the gpu use AMD clock tool for 5800 series

And power for gear is simply a tool to help with what your power settings default to when the laptop is plugged in versus on battery

The twin turbo button over clocks your CPU bclk frequency by 7%. (133Mhz > 142Mhz).
