Hello fellow members, esspecially Irish readers more specific Sligo.

Want to tell you about my experience about this laptop.

I'm fully satisfied with Asus, only thing is always before buying something on eBay and chosing right Repair Center/Service.

As my experience some of readers will know was broken vBIOS.
Long story short, my laptop started to having GSOD and PSOD.
So first thing i thought was that GPU was dead or had vBIOS error.

As i didn't have necessary equipment i brought it to best know(people recommended that it was really good, really good) Repair Service, EDWORKS, Sligo, Wine Str. Car Park, near Tesco.

Explaining them that i think that GPU is dead and the GPU needs a reflow or reballing, then sad okay we will check and do diagnostics, paying 50€ for that, and most what surpirsed me when we spoke of laptops changing our opinions and thoughts, was that one of workers told me that the motherboard is dead because you should have the IGP(Integrate Graphics Processor) as to I answered that not all Intel CPUs have it, he sad that all of them have, as to i answered more or less starting from Sandy Bridge i7 CPUs more/less have it around 90%, as to what he was surprised to my saying, I didnt thought at the moment nothing bad of it.

It continues, recieving back my laptop i was surprised that nothing was done to my laptop, as my surprise continued as i noticed bringing my laptop back home i saw something strange on my motherboard where are RAM slots(if you want can post the pictures) they where changed and the soldering was strange(anyway), recieving back laptop man told me that i need to relfash BIOS or vBIOS by myself to what that was surpise, do wee go to doctor or anywhere else after examination recieving answer go home and look up yourself what to do next.

So my story continues with other repair place where I recieved decent help not even paying anything only for parts which where changed and where i could get help and knowledge of it what happened.

Just sharing my experience and maybe trying to warn others not knowing customers of this service, if you use it and you have decent knowledge of laptops, PLEASE check them after service!

    Thank you for your attention!

That's one reason I always lurk here at the NBR Asus Gaming Notebook Forum. I always check here for solutions than going straight to official service centers or some computer repair shop. These days, a lot of computer repair shops just want to rip your money off from you, or worse, replacing working hardware in your machine with defective ones and tell you that your computer is irrepairable and they'd offer to buy it for a cheap price.

You're completely right JehutyZeroshift, as i know now i won't recommend going there or useing their service as metioned in previous post and i have post on here looking for help, i tried to flashing it with all possible ways, but happens i needed a SPI Programmer which is in different location which is not accessable currently so i had no choice to use them as so many people recommended it, but now, i will deffinetly use my own hands to fix anything :D
