I have been having this problem with my computer recently where it just shuts off a few minutes (sometimes seconds) after i start playing a game, i always thought it was just a heating issue, but i have recorded the temperature during game play and it never exceed 80.C .

So i'm not sure whats wrong but i did notice that my GPU jumps from 0% to 100% then drops back down to 0% and shuts off, but i honestly don't know.

and if y'all want me to record whats happening feel free to ask.

Your temps do not seem too high, but its still a good idea to open it up and clean out the fans and vents as your first trouble shooting step.

It could be your PSU going bad.

I suspect power too if temperatures are ok, does your brick have an LED light on it? If so does it go out when the machine restarts?

There's a good chance it is power, if it make a difference, my laptop is basically only running off the power cord.

Ans yes it does have an LED on my brick and I will check once I return home.

Yes a battery can mask the impact but it would not prevent the issue

It could be a weak joint that is shorting on the GPU as well, it could mean the gpu needs replacing.

Why don't you have anything from eventlog in this thread? Start menu-> Type in Event and look for Eventlog or Eventviewer. Go to the system tab and search for exclamation points and then report back with what you find.

    90% sure it's GPU overheat.
