    i got ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 I would like to upgrade it? i may install 12-6_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc ? will work out for me or there is another driver for my video card? also when i upgrade to 12-6_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc in my DXDIAG DISPLAY this says Approx Memory 205 MB which is a lie because 5870 Video card is 1GB. also is there a way to know if my laptop is running fine? im laggin with some old games like counter strike source and in my opinion shouldnt happen it, please help me.! i would be thanksfully to you all

    Yes, you can upgrade your laptop with that particular driver. As for the memory displaying 205MB, I don't know what's that about. Download GPU-Z, run it and post some images here for people to analyze. In regards to lagging, click on your battery icon, and check if you're on High Performance. If not then click "more power options", click on the arrow beside "show additional plans" and make sure you're on "High Performance" or Power4Gear High Performance option.

    Im In Power4Gear High Performance also i had to install my old drivers for my video card because each time i upgrade to 12.6 my video card start to fail. GPU-Z show 1gb of video ram but dxdiag show only 205 mb. you know this laptop shouldnt be laggin with some old games like counter strike source or even bad company 2 =p, i have to lower all my settings quality to being able to play which sucks imo =(
