Just bought the game on steam and as my main computer is at repair have time to test the second JH i bought. Have the 5870m OC at 810/1100

The game runs nicely on very high settings. Ultra kind of looks a bit laggy but i playable as well. Some areas that need more rendering take time for texture to settle in so choppy FPS is seen there. Other then that the 5870m and a 820qm seem to run the game just fine :)

Have latest AMD drivers and using shapphire Trixx to OC the GPU. Max temps in game were 71C. GPU has been repasted with IC7

Huge fan on the bioshock series so really good game too :)

I'm playing on an SW, and it runs fairly well. I have everything set to Ultra, except AA, Ambient Occlusion, and Vsync off in-game -- I replaced them with the options in the Nvidia control panel. (FXAA, performance AO, and adaptive half-refresh rate.) Vsync caps my framerate to 30 (which is fine for me) and it rarely goes below that while overclocked to 800/1600.

I wasn't expecting it to run this well, but I'm pleasantly surprised. :)

EDIT: Of course, my temps aren't nearly that good. Getting up to 93 after about 2 hours straight playing (at which point my GPU begins to throttle.)

Well now i can play on ultra. I had external monitor connected rez was at 1920x1200 and not the 1920x1080 native rez. Added OC to 815/1125 as well.

Same here. Was reading the box and recommended spec was someting like 6950 or nvidias GTX 560.

Did you guys post this before or after the zeppelin? That hit my FPS hard when riding the rails through the buildings, it really should have been part of the benchmark.

Well made it past t he zeppelin and all looks good. Only problem i keep having is the texture does take a lot of time to settle in when the screen is full of lots of action. Other then that FPS seems to be OK.
Did you run it with OC or stock?

Anyone knows what this trannslates to in the catalyst controls? There is no FXAA, but I would like the equivalent.

You may as well use the Ambient Occlusion in-game, as its AMD optimized (HDAO) - that's why I switched it for the Nvidia equivalent (HBAO). As for Adaptive Vsync and FXAA, both are Nvidia exclusive features - so again, you may as well just use the settings in-game, as there will be little or no gain (quality or performance-wise) from forcing settings in Catalyst.

EDIT: This game is AMD optimized, so it will probably run better for you on in-game settings than it would for me - that's why I had to compensate in Nvidia Control settings.

    Ok. Thanks.

Well for me the game is almost unplayable because of the loading of textures. I could play Ultra when they have settled, but it seems like Ultra makes it take longer to settle so I think I´ll just play medium or something until a fix comes out.

I hope for a fix, the Titan non-mobile gets 10fps as lowest in benchmark so lol something is not right.

I've heard of this texture popping all over the place, but I have literally had zero popping, no matter what my settings are at.

Maybe I'm just not noticing it due to playing RAGE at release. :p

The lag of texture is not only a problem of the 5870m. Got my AW back with a nvidia gtx 580m and had the same problem. Better frame rate but still some, textures did not render as fast as it should. So we might just have to wait for an update for the drivers.
