Hello , I am writing to ask you for help with a problem. So , I bought this laptop used and it was delivered yesterday. Initially the battery were plug into the PC and it was full charge ( in fact just lit marked 100%), I started using it and as soon as he arrived at 43% off by itself . Whereupon I thought I'd put it in charge , the LED lights up ( turns orange ) and the pc works. The problem is that it does not recharge the battery, remains fixed at 43% ( marking that is connected and charging) . If I disconnect the power supply the PC turns off. I've tried many things :

    - Turn on PC with battery removed , and then insert it .
    -Reflash bios (213)
-Make a clean install of Windows 7
    - Disable the battery driver from the control panel ( ACPI)

What can I do ? BatteryCare gives me the following info on the battery :

    Current battery capacity : 43%
    Battery remaining time : -
    Battery status : Charging
    Designed capacity: 66000mWh
    Total capacity: 684000mWh
Current Capacity : 29145mWh ( but if i remove the battery, the pc shut down by itself )
    Charge / Discharge rate: 0W
    Tension ( voltage) : 14486mW
    Wear Level 0.00%
    Total discharge cycles : 0

It ' a battery problem ? I have to buy new ? Or some pc problem ? Because I do not want to spend unnecessary money for a battery: (

P.s. sorry for my bad english, and tnx for reading.

It's probably time for a new battery. The G73JH models came out in Dec 2009 and were sold for about a year. If that is the original battery that came with the computer then its 3-4yrs old which is about the lifespan of a notebook battery (depending on use). Even it if were to charge too 100% I would be surprised if it gave more then 30mins battery time.
