Hello I have a Asus G73JH that I got back in the summer of 2010. My computer did not come with an operation system/driver disk, I had to put it on disks. Since then I have moved and I can't find them And I need to do a system repair, so I'm pretty sure the operating system will remain, but i'm not sure about the drivers.
I hate to be a bother, but could someone send me the driver CD.

Welcome to the forum, the driver disk can be had for free from http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?1150-G73-74-53-Series-Driver-and-Application-Reference
Kudo's to Chastity -
Hello Josea. Sadly the download links to chastity's post do not work. I'd really appreciate if you can share the workaround. Im looking for the g73jh driver and application disc. Thanks in advance.
-
You can hit F9 at startup and try to restore from the recovery partition too. Otherwise, you'll need to hunt for the drivers on your own for now at least. I suppose, i could compile a list of the drivers you need tomorrow.
-
Tijo can you do the compilation of drivers for the g73JH, because I am having a hard time finding the right drivers for the JH model. The other resources that I go too aren't updated or it gives me problems and blue screens. Thanks in advance! planning to reformat soon.

I'm really looking for the original driver and application disk. I no longer have the recovery partition and many drivers/apps from the asus support website don't work properly or encounter errors during installation. Also my keyboard lights no longer work. I updated to the latest bios version but still no go. I wanted to do a fresh reinstall of windows7 and use the original driver and application disk to see if i can get my keyboard lighting working again. If you or anyone know a source where i can get the iso i would greatly appreciate it.
thanks -
try this for the light problem

and this is for the original driver disc.
G73/74/53 Series Driver and Application Reference
search for Asus Driver and Application Disc for G73JH
its under installation disc. -
I dont think Chastity link work anymore fella I know it stopped a while back after it was downloading at an evil slow speed and it took me 2 weeks back in the day and it kept cutting out.
I do have a copy of the original drivers reference on disc at home I suppose I could try and upload it somehow or create a torrent for it. Most of the drivers are on the official website and there are newer drivers that can replace the old ones. -
Last Update: 23/08/2012
Anything i can link directly from Asus or the manufacturer's drivers, i will do so. I will also list the drivers in my preferred order of installation. Some of these drivers might not be the latest versions, but all are working perfectly on my G73JH. Right now, what is listed are the drivers and utilities i use, the rest, i decided not to install as i did not need it.

I don't have to put links to every driver for now, but i'm going though the list of drivers i have saved on my computer to make sure i don't forget anything. If you see a driver that you need and isn't listed, let me know and i'll try to hunt it down. I need to find what the model of the realtek chip is for the audio in order to get the right drivers. I have the riles on my computer, but it's not something i'll be able to upload on NBR. Aside from that, i have so many versions of the webcam drivers that i'll have to verify which one fixed my webcam issues.
There are other Asus utilities i didn't list, however if you want them, i can always put them up.Attached Files:

what about Audio? I can't get the Audio drivers to work with the Creative Audigy program
-
JehutyZeroshift Notebook Evangelist
You may try to run CCleaner to search for Creative stuff registries and delete those when you have already uninstalled the Creative software, then install the Creative Audigy again. Another way is to use the Driver Sweeper to remove Creative driver stuff then reinstall again. -
Hey Tijo, what issues have you got with your webcam? I have problems with my webcam too. If I use it on Yahoo messenger or skype there is a random chance that it goes off then will on again. It is like pausing or stoping in random times.
Another problem I have is that my mic is not working anymore. -
The mic should work out of the box with the right realtek driver. I'll get around to putting those in my driver post tomorrow (eastern time).
The only problem i had with my webcam is that the picture was reversed, but a registry tweak fixed that pretty quickly. In the end, i think i ended up installing the webcam driver from Asus, but i had to disable UAC in order to get it to install properly. The driver version listed in the device manager is this: 61.5.200.280 -
Heads up that i added the audio drivers (which should work fine with Creative stuff) and the webcam driver. If you want something else to be added, i can probably add it except for the audigy software.

Thanks tijo!

the audio driver link requires meto log in with a password? really need that audio driver
thanks for everything else!
EDIT: also i just installed the P4G from your link and after installing and restarted i got a P4G error saying "Can't open ACPI ATK0100 kernel Mode Driver" ?? -
I'll fix the audio driver link, it should technically work.
For P4G, you need to have the ATK package installed, if it is already installed, reinstall it.
EDIT: Audio should be fixed
2nd EDIT: ATK Package is up, still can't believe i forgot that one. -
i cant seem to install the LAN atheros driver and the webcam, whenever i try to run the PNPINST64.exe an error will occur.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/20/30084061.png/ -
I had that error with my webcam. What i did was disable UAC completely, restart and install the driver with admin rights. That worked for me, not sure it will for you. If it doesn't report back here and i'll try to find another driver for those.

look at this, custom build laptop , I feel like to make mine like this.

Intel MEI link is dead... if you dont mind, i would like to ask what's the use of that driver?
thanks -
I'll fix the MEI link shortly, personally i don't use it, if i remember correctly it has to do with Intel VPro features. It shows up as an unrecognized pci device in device manager if you don't install it. The only reason i installed if because of my OCD side that didn't like that unrecognized device.
MEI Link fixed: direct download for the latest version and link to the Asus page with all versions. -
Hi,
I wanted to ask where i could download genuine Windows 7 Home .ISO, so i can install it and use my WIN product code?
Thanks -

Hello ryboto, I have already uploaded the Creative Audigy Installer that came with my Asus Drivers Disk and it solved Flames_Of_Origin's issue regarding its installation. http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/516054-creative-audio-center-lock-up-fix-21.html#post8403933

any ideas? -
Hmm that's weird, as far as i'm away Asus used only the one Atheros Lan adapter in the JH.
Try one that is available on this page under LAN: http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=G73Jh&p=3&s=252, maybe there is something wrong with my zip file. If it works, let me know and i'll make the necessary adjustments. -
Is the Ethernet device being detected in Device Manager? If not, it may indicate a hardware failure.
-
edit: its in the network adapters right? -
Lan and wireless are totally different adapters, you need the wireless driver for the wireless and the lan driver for the lan.
With the driver installed it will look like the screenshot attached. Without the driver, it could be a device with an exclamation mark on it.Attached Files:
