Asus G73JH freezes when play through HDMI

Hey all,

Wow it's been a while since i came here but i need some help.

My lappy G73 JH freezes with a grey screen after about 20 minutes when playing through HDMI on my 50 inch plasma. The only driver that works is Catalyst 8.66.6-091006a for 5800 and HD5700 download from Guru3D.com

This driver is almost a year old and i cant play some games because of it. Whenever a new driver comes out i try it but always need to roll back the driver because the lappy starts to crash again when playing through HDMI.

I'm using the latest bios.

We don't have cable so HDMI is very important to my kids but would like to know if there is a way around this problem.
