I have an Asus G73JH that's just out of warranty, and it no long turns on. When I plug in the power cord the blue lights on the left side all come on. When I press the power button nothing come up, but the blue lights on the left turn off for about a second then come back on. The screen doesn't turn on and the fans don't spool up.

I pulled out the battery and power adapter and held down the power button for 30 seconds several times to no avail. So I went a grab my G53's charger which is the same Voltage and Amps and plugged it in and the laptop and it still won't turn on. So I grabbed the battery and stuck it in my G53 and it booted right up and the battery is working fine.

Next I took out the HDD and Ram and tried just one stick, still no boot. So after trying my 3 different ram in the 3 different slots still won't power on. Next I tried pressing the cmos clear/reset but that didn't work either.

I'm starting to think its a bad motherboard ! Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this ?

As I understand it, bad or poorly-seated RAM, or a bad or poorly-seated video graphics adapter will prevent system startup. It looks like you've already eliminated the RAM possibility.

Did you experience any video issues prior to the boot failure?

son your issue comes from your processor , maybe its dead or faulty ,
try replacing it , I bet the problem comes from the processor , because I have tried turning on my old laptop without processor and lights came for a second and went off.,
sometimes , removing the processor and reinstalling it also will fix the issue , make sure you tight the heatsink screws , otherwise you would get the same problem.
    thanks

Those issues are actually pretty hard to diagnose, so it's hard to say exactly what is the cause.
