Last couple days my laptop has been acting strange. It would randomly be completely dead on me after sitting closed for a while and when I would go to charge it, it would not recognize that it was charging and then after about a half an hour or so i would try to power it on and it would work.

Anyways now it wont turn on at all, Charger seems fine, used my roomates from his g55 and it didn't get it to turn on either.
I did notice however the laptop was getting fairly warm in one spot, I took off the back panel and the wifi adapter was pretty warm, I removed it then tried to charge it again and the mobo under the wifi adapter is pretty warm.

Any ideas what the problem could be? anyone know what is on the otherside of the mobo there? I repasted this laptop over a year ago but haven't messed with it since then

Sounds like it could be power adapter problems, in the laptop. Might be shorting out. Maybe change the adapter. I believe it's a plug in style not solder
