Okay, this thread is a little self-serving, but it'll also probably help those passing by who are also looking for an A1 or an A2 that isn't priced hundreds of dollars above what is reasonable. From what I gather, the reasonable price of an A1 and A2 is around $1,600 and $1,500 respectively. And most of those are out of stock.

I'm currently on high alert for new stock (since I finally convinced my friend to order online for me), but lately I haven't found any site that isn't on back order (which isn't useful for those like me, who need it immediately). If you do know of available stock in the reasonable price area, please feel free to put up an alert here. Much appreciated.

For some reason, there seems to be plenty of stock in Canada at decent prices:

    Anitec

    Bestdirect

These are A2. I'm sure you can find A1, too.

Seems MWave has some in stock, since they are listing the item ships within 24 hrs. I would definitely call to confirm stock.

The A1 package MSRP is $1699 in the US, and MWave is selling it at MSRP. Some other retailers are price gouging, even going as high as $2000. (and scarily, selling out)

I bought mine from ABT.com, who is an authorized reseller, and also sells it at MSRP.

Newegg is gouging at $1750.00 for the A2. :p

extreme-pc.ca has 'em (a2 version here), and will ship anywhere in north america. They'll do whatever sort of shipping you want, too, and pricematch as well. It's canadian funds pricing, so it may (or may not) be cheaper south of the border.
