    Asus G73JH-A2 strange freeze problem

    Hi guys,

    i own G73jh-A2 . i have very strange problem .

    While playing BFBC2 laptop get freezes so only option left is hard restart . After Hard reset laptop will keep on freezing at starting of window .

    But if i keep laptop turned off for let say 15-20min. then start laptop its work without any freeze even play bfbc2

    i can't understand what's happening help!!!

    Must be your Overclock? If it is, roll it back a bit. If not, do the ATI Crap Cleaner. http://pcaudio.org/stuff/ATI%20Crap%20Cleaner.bat

    Also are your GPU Drivers updated?

    It looks like throttling cpu :(. Checked your temps when this happening?

    What are your BC2 settings? How long have you been playing BC2 at the settings you are using? I suspect its throttling as well (?).

    It's the processor's preventive measure to keep it from burning up. Happens if you're gaming on extreme settings too high for your GPU and your temps go way up. Hmmm try again and ease up your settings to Medium this time. Hope it helps. :)

    hmmm but since September last year i have been playing at these setting but this problem started appear in may . at that time if bfbc2 used to get freeze simple restart used to fix it and i used to enjoy 5-6hrs of game but now max. 2hrs

    But i will try suggestion you have given .

    could this mean thermal paste not good ?

    i tried but instead of freeze used to happen after 2hrs in high but when i set everything in middle it freezed in just 40min. :eek:
