Hi, so i recently OCed my GPU (460m) to 80/1600/1400, and was perfect on Gta IV (max temp was 80C) TF2 (max temp wasa 78C). But when i played Starcraft II, the laptop just shuts down in a middle of a game, like if someone presses the power button for 5 secons, and i know is not Overheating because Max temp i got on SCII is 76C.
Then, after starcraft shuts down my computer and i turn it up again, it randomly crashes, i mean, the computer just stops responding.
And i have to reset the GPU to it's stock clocks to get it back to normal.
But why does it happens only on SCII?
Thanks
BTW: I've already done the frame cap trick on the variables ^^.

Before everyone goes nuts about trying to fix this, I'd like to address one simple fact: games aren't 100% perfect applications. Especially Blizzard games; these tend to take a few patches to get up to snuff. Black Ops is another culprit. So if your game tanks, locks up, or causes some other fun error, don't assume it's the OS or drivers immediately. My first suggestion is to hit the Games forum here, and see if someone has posted about it there already.

had the same problem with starcraft 2 another game but I forgot which one it was.

i think some can take oc better than the other better, especially bad company 2 -
I have a g73jw with 8gb of ram. I had the same issue with starcraft 2. Constant black screen shutdowns. I am now having the same issue with dead space 2. The game runs great while Im playing it and then the whole computer just shuts down. I have the same overclock settings as you. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and has found a solution?
