Ok, I have had this problem for a while now and thought the hard drive was bad. So I replaced it was SSD and re-installed the OS. For a while, it was working great. But now it start doing this again. The computer would just freeze completely after booting into the Windows. It does the same thing in Safe Mood with Networking and even hang at ChKDISK...Its fine in Safe Mode tho. I put my hands on the keyboard. The CPU is not even that hot. What do you think the problem is?

    Thanks

Were you overclocking at all? CPU or GPU? Do you just freeze and lock up or get a BSOD after a few seconds? Is there any noise during the lock up?

This was a sign with the G73 that resulted from the Creative Software that came with certain models and the JH and JW where the two most affected. Try and back up your data and reinstall windows leaving just the Realtek drivers installed and no creative software and see if that sorts the problem for you.
