So its been weeks since this happening to me. When I try to browse on the internet (watch videos, play online games, etc) it suddenly lags for a few seconds then it connects again. It is very annoying for me who play online games.

    What I have done:
    1. I tried to go to command prompt and try to ping my router (192.168.0.1) for quite some time and it says: Ping statistics for 192.168.0.1: Packets: Sent = 1118, Received = 1039, Lost = 79 (7% Loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 3928ms, Average = 24ms
    2. I have contact my ISP. They said that there is no problem with the internet connection.
    3. I have other devices (other laptop, mobile phones and tablet) that connected to the same router but all of them do not have any problem at all.
    4. I have also tried to downgrade my network adapter Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter from 10.0.0.227 to 10.0.0.221 and it still lagging.
    5. I tried to go to my friends house one night, I play online games there and there is no problem at all.

So with that I assume that there is a problem that prevents the wireless connection from my computer to my router. But I do not know how to fix this problem.

Please can anybody help me how to solve this problem? I am currently have to plug-in the Ethernet cable from the router to my laptop and it is annoying since laptop is build for its portability.

    Things you can try:

    - Boot in safety mode with network and run ping again, to test if it's an antivirus of similiar
    - Turn off all other wifi devices, maybe a duplicate IP
    - Ping from another computer to your notebook, maybe the firewall blocking incoming packets
    - If it's a DHCP network, set a IP on your notebook and try again.

hey Jhilian, Thanks for the reply.. I have found out that my firewall is really blocking my incoming packets!

    Thank you!
