    Dear NBR members,

Since about 2 days i started experiencing random GSOD's on my Asus G73SW. I allready tried driver sweerper / reinstalling the OS and serveral windows updates. When i boot my system up, it starts normally. But when i open (for instance) Mozilla Firefox. My LCD starts flashing randomly and i get the message 'Display driver stopped working' (I also tried to update my Adobe Flash, did not solve anything). The flickering stops after about 10 seconds. Then i have to force reboot it, to get it working again.
After the force reboot. My system freezes at the post screen. Then i have to force reboot it about 2 to 3 times to make windows start. I also took a look in the BIOS. Everything looked normally. Does anybody have the same problem? Because my notebook is brand new and i think it is a problem with the GPU.

I really need some help, because i need this notebook for my work.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob Hendriks

My best advice is you rollback to a more stable driver version of nvidia try installing driver 275.33 and see if the problem is still persistent or not ..

had same problem and i had to RMA mine. It took about 3 weeks. They told me it was a software issue and that they reloaded windows. i was skeptical, as soon as i got it back i put on a clean version of windows and all worked well. I think they re loaded the bios and that is what made the difference. Ever since my OC has done even better at 820/1540/1640 completely stable.

Mine didn't have any driver issues for many months, until it started over heating. My heat problem was due to the dust build up. No I blow mine out every two weeks.
