    I reinstalled Windows, and I'm assuming there is some driver for the keyboard, as only my dim/undim monitor hotkeys are working. This fact suggests that the function key does function, so there must be a driver to support the other hotkeys. Where might I get such a driver if it exists? And if it doesn't, what might the issue be?

    Sounds like your looking for the "ATK" package from Asus. Check Asus's driver downloads - if they don't have it for your model. Try one of the other G73 sub-models.
