Hi I searched but couldnt find any threads covering the G73sw.
I had a problem with my power port and so had to disassemble it to see what the issue was. I did this twice and recoupled it with everything working except my power port problem.
I then took it for a replacement port and after recoupling it, the keyboard light doesnt come on.
All keys function properly including the fn+f4 but the lights do not come on.
The repair man couldnt fix it as he doesnt know whats wrong.
The flex cable for the keyboard looks fine and I have disconnected it and reconeccted it to make sure it is connected carefully. Does anyone know wat could be the problem.
    Thanks in advance.

Did you try everything in the sticky that's posted on this gaming forum? There's a link in there specifically for the keyboard lights that might be useful.
