    Asus G74 and Intel Ultimate-N 6300 - Third antenna Cable?

    I was thinking of getting the Bestbuy version of the G74 since it fits into my budget and I am wondering if it's possible to install the Intel Ultimate-N 6300 with the third antenna cable? I seen XoticPc has it and they say that they will include a third antenna cable but GenTech PC says that it is a "mod". Does anyone know if it's possible without much work as in replacing the wifi card and finding another cable to attach to or do i need to pull the entire laptop apart and wire another third antenna cable?

    If i am correct, everything should be accessible on the G74 without taking the laptop apart

    you can access the HDD, RAM and network card. Fan, GPU, CPU and other stuffs you have to disassemble the G74 further down

    What I'm wondering is the third antenna wire, does the G74 have it by default? I tried to find reviews of the G74 totally disassembled but I have yet to find any.

    It won't have the third antenna by default. You'll have to open up the casing and string it around the lid along the other wires. It just comes with 2 by default.
