    Is the G74 compatible with the GTX 580m or 6990m? and if so will the cooling be on par or better with say the (M17xR3 or P150HM)?

    The GPU in the G74 is soldered to the motherboard. Unofrtnately, a GPU swap is not possible.

    o...that sucks but thanks for letting me know, I love Asus case designs but wish they had more GPU config freedom.
