Hi,
I have an Asus G74SX with Atheros adapter and it's randomly disconnecting for a few seconds. I tried reinstalling Windows and atheros drivers from their site with no success. I cant tell you how annoying it is when its getting you out of online games. I want to mention its not router side cause i have other laptops that works fine in the same time.
Please any help would be apreciated.

That driver is old, try this one - http://www.station-drivers.com/tele....2.0.439-vista-7(www.station-drivers.com).exe

Are you connecting with -n at 40MHz? If so, try a lower Mhz value or b/g connectivity.
Any Antivirus or Malware scanning taking place while you are gaming?
DPC Latency Checker may help identify drivers contributing to latency on your system.
You might also check your router's log to troubleshoot the problem. The System or Application Event Logs on your G74SX may also have Errors or Warnings that point to some problem. -
Thank you for advices ... im using webroot internet security suite as antivir/firewall. I set it on gamer mode and it seems its working for now ... 30 min and no disconnects. Hope this is the problem.
