    Asus G74SX-BBK8 no longer being sold by Best BUY?

    I was all set to pull the triger on the G74SX-BBK8 and they no longer carry it?! I assume this could indicate a new G74SS-BBK9 is on the way? Anyone have an inside track on this? I was not comfortable going above 1200 tops for a laptop.

    Probably cause they're waiting for a supposed " Best Buy G75 ? "

    In any case , buying a G74 now is not a good idea, else you're having a huge bargain like 800buck , just wait for the new rev. It's no longer " supposed " , it was shown at CES , so it will come out soon. I'd say in two month probably.

    In my opinion , just wait. You'll get anger to see huge perf / same buck in two month , or even WAY cheaper G74 cause G75 are out.

    That's still the old model.

    Catzoo is correct. With the new 75 coming out, you'd best just wait for either a cheaper 74 or a brand new 75.
