    Hello folks,
I've been having serious issues with certain gaming applications, mainly when I alt-tab (due to accident) I get a significant visual performance loss. The game stutters every time I get it back up again. It's definitely happening on GR:FS - and some other full screen programs (GR:FS doesn't have windowed option).

Fraps says the game runs stable on 60 fps as always, but I can clearly see that the game stuttering. I actually have to do a full reboot to have it fixed.
    Applications run extremely smooth otherwise.

Also when gaming a certain application for a while, I get 'a less significant performance loss in other games after.

    Spec is Asus G75// i7 3610/ GTX 670M

    W7 index minimum 7.5
    - 8GB memory (3k averaged used).
    - Some ancient fast SSD.

    nvidia driver: 306.97
    OC tool: msi afterburner 2.2.5 b1 (core 720 Mhz (+100), Mem. 1520 (+20)

Is this common with nividia mobile drivers?

    - Raven

I think I have the exact same notebook as you, and unfortunately I don't share the same problems so I can't help you in that regard. Is it specific games you're having trouble with? Because FTL makes my screen flicker when I play it without the adapter plugged in (really odd, no other games/apps does this).

The only thing I can suggest is also taking this inquiry up with the folks at the official ROG forums where they have a section dedicated to G75 owners: G75, G55 & G46 Series Notebooks

Never hurts to get help from two sources.

Thanks for the replies, I assume it has something to do with power profile management, because problem is present when unplugging and replugging to power source again. I can never achieve the same max performance when replugging unless I do a reboot.
