Can anyone confirm the maximum resolution of the Asus G750JW? According to this site the screen if full HD:

    http://products.ncix.com/detail/asus-rog-g750jw-db71-intel-core-93-84898-1064.htm

    17.3" 16:9 FHD EWV LED Backlight/ HD+ EWV (1600 x 900) Non-Glare LCD Panel

But the only listed resolution is 1600x900. I think Asus' Canada site has the same ambiguity. I think Futureshop has the same laptop and its maximum resolution was listed as 1600x900. A local retailer claims its 1920x1080. I'm confused!

    Thanks

Full 1080 x 1900 would be what we consider HD in today world. Since you looking at a retail store just look in to the properties and see what resolution is supported natively.ROG Forum

Typically HD refers to 720p (or 1366x768) while full hd relates to 1920x1080.

1600x900 as they have listed is referred to as HD+. The G750JW-DB71 we sell is 1920x1080 and all the "DB71" should be. But since they have 1600x900 listed you're smart to ask about it. Maybe give them a call and see if its misprinted. Usually when they have a lower res the model numbers are going to be slightly different.
