not sure if it been asked here before, But i recently got my asus g750jz ( 880mx) and everything runs great on it except for diablo 3...
watch dogs , BF4, farcry 3 are all demanding games and they all run smoothly except for diablo 3.
any solution to this problem ?
thank you

Most likely due to the 880mx not activating and it trying to use integrated graphics. A known issue with diablo 3. Google "diablo 3 optimus" and follow guide to create custom shortcut forcing 880mx.

Can you check with GPU-Z on which GPU the game is running?
Run GPU-Z in background and go to the tab showing the GPU clock and load. Just to be sure that it runs on the Intel and not Nvidia one. -
it always run on the CPU and not GPU, thats the problem... I read on a forum somewhere how to download something call nvidiaspector, create some sort of a profile and load it up to NVIDIA controll settings profile section to make sure the game is forced to run on the 880m, but it still doesnt let me chose the 880m, it is stuck on the CPU...

Did you try to add a profile for diablo3 to the NVidia drivers? If you do this you should be able to say the NVidia driver to get active when the diablo3.exe is run.
Which drivers are you running at the moment? -
I have thats is problem on my new G750JM is down to optimus and drivers....know issue Blizzard and MS are aware.
The solution I used was.
g750 shipped driver 332.60 (I upgraded the driver and it locks D3 on the profile to intel only for some reason, going back to the stock worked)
NIVIDIA control Panel > Global Setting > Preferred graphics processor = High-performance.
Now D3 should launch using the NVIDIA. now it will black screen, just sound. This is issue number 2.
Quit d3,
Open G:\Users\ account\Documents\Diablo III\D3Prefs.txt
Edit the line:
DisplayModeWindowMode "0" to DisplayModeWindowMode "1"
Now D3 should start in windowmode, not perfect, but then you can set to full screen window and it will run perfect.
