Hello fellows,
For other owners of the aforementioned notebook, has anyone noticed a somewhat slight but noticeable vibration at the pam rest when the notebook is under load? Playing some games, ie Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 makes this all the more noticeable.
Earlier on, I came across a post on Steam community regarding the same issue, but on a different ASUS SKU: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/11/622954747289298502/
Is there a way to diagnose this thoroughly? Considering that these laptops lack manual, fine-grained fan control save for the three presets (silent, balanced and overboost), I can only reproduce this effect when the machine is under load that makes the fans spin. That's the closest thing that comes to mind, considering that my build has no mechanical drives in place.

Are all bottom contacts touching the surface it's sitting on? That's the only thing I can think of that would cause it to vibrate when the fans are at higher RPM. -
I'll re-check and retest.
As I recall, it was on a wooden table. -

A good way to check if this is the case is if you've got a softer or more springy work surface like a rubber hobby mat or something along those lines to run it on, since this can dampen the vibration.Vasudev likes this.
